Is it ever acceptable (or your blood alcohol high enough! lol) to make out, or even sleep, with someone whose name you don't know?

Well, if I said no then I'd be a big hypocrite! I have made out with a guy I met in a club whose name I didn't know, but I've never slept with someone like that. The guy I made out with called me the next day, and I was too embarassed to tell him I couldn't remember his name! He took me out to eat lunch, and I tried to look at his credit card or anything I could to find out his name! lol! Finally he saw someone he knew and they said it! I felt like such a spaz!

Yeah, sure why not. Names are not important in the language of love! For me personally, I could not just 'use' somebody, but hey if I wanted to make out with them, or sleep with them, and I didn't know their name, it wouldn't stop me! Or I could just ask "before we do this, what's your name?".

I've made out with guys while I was drunk before I knew their name but it never went any further than that. I have slept with guys after a long night of drinking but I knew their names. So to me everyone has their own standards. Some people would think of me as a sl*t and I really don't care because my friends and husband (and his family) still love me. I wouldn't think any less of someone who made out or slept with someone without knowing their name, whether they were drunk or not.

No, that's disrespectful.
If you feel comfortable enough to share sexual intimacy with someone, than you should be comfortable enough for a little small talk before hand... like, "Hey, I'm Bob. What's your name? I noticed we've both had a lot to drink, and I was wondering if you would you like to have casual, no-strings-attached, sex with me in the mens room?"
I wouldn't even buy a car from someone who hasn't come up to me, shaken my hand and introduced himself first.

well, acceptable behavior is a subjective thing. its happened, thats for darn sure. the only thing that is no fun is trying to explain to them when they call (and your thinking, how in the world did they get this number?!?!) that you a) dont remember, b) were too drunk to be held accountable or c) speak no English.
its all sorts of either really, really fun or really, really awful!!

Assuming you aren't in a relationship with someone else, I don't see a real problem with that happening occasionally. It's part of being young.
Now, if its your only way of feeling "loved," that's a whole different issue!

Aaahh.... the good 'ole days. Then I grew up, and bad things happened.... like they were still there in the morning... or they weren't there and you wanted them to be....or they had a sign. other they forgot to mention....
