Ya I just hate people who don't have any kind of sincerity regarding telling someone the truth. There's lots of other ways to tell someone the truth and not be brutal about it.
Which leads me to this....are ya just being brutal because you want the "truth" to hurt that person and not "help" them? Cause isn't that what telling the truth to someone is really all about........helping them.....not trying to hurt them?
Maybe it's not the other person having a "problem" with you telling them the truth. Maybe it's the way "your" telling it to them!
Oops one more thing. Remember something else too ok. How long have you been hiding the truth from the person before you had the balls to speak up. That could be another reason people or as you want to put it women get pissed off at you. Maybe your waiting until it's convenient for you to dumb on her!

Women can generally take the truth better than us men. Abd stop confusing opinion with truth - if they're asking for opinions, by all means, give them opinions. But to then call it "truth" is just stupid. Besides, why does the truth have to be "brutal"? Can't you tell the truth while still being polite and civil? Being tactful and thoughtful doesn't mean you have to lie.
It's neanderthals like you that make relationships difficult for the rest of us real men.

Dear Mr.Dan.. Not all women, are like that. Well speaking for myself,I want a guy who always is honest with me,doesn't matter what it might be. Honesty,is all I want. And I wont get upset, since I asked. And some guys, aren't rude when saying the truth, you just got to find the proper words to say it. * think about that.. Have a nice day. Ciao:)

I think sometimes we want to give Men the benefit of the doubt. Women like to express their feelings and talk about them so we forget that Men are different. I expect my Husband to give me an honest opinion because he loves me. I wouldn't want him to lie. But if the man LOVES the women he will use tact. And if he respects himself he will not purposely say something hurtful to anyone. There is a way to say things no matter what it is good or bad, let love guide you.

I don't think its that we ask knowing we won't like the truth - i think some people ask for validation and maybe are just naive as to what the real truth might be - so when they get it, it upsets them.
If I think I won't like the answer to a question, I won't ask.

You are right. Last weekend I got dressed with a completely new outfit and I thought I looked great. My husband hated the shirt but shame on me for asking what he thought. I put on something safe and I wish I had worn what I picked out. I don't know why I trusted him in the first place, he can't even match a tie to his suit. I have to help him every morning.

We know what we are doing, When we ask for a males opinion it makes him feel like hes needed, in return we just view it as an opinion and do what we know is right.

i dunno... usually im not like that, if im asking for some ones opinion its because i genuinely want to know what it is. i know, some people are insecure and they ask people for their opinions so that they can feel like they are making their own by doing the oposite. others, well, they expect you to tell them what they want to hear, and if you dont, they get angry.. but they cant be controlled... this i feel sorry for and disagree with in people personalities because i find it irritating, myself. if you have some one like that in your life, i would just tell them how i feel about it outright instead of jsut putting up with it because then i feel like im not telling the truth by not telling them how i feel about them. my motto is "100 % honest, 100% of the time" it seems to get me along allright without me feeling guilty about myself.. maybe it might help. hope i helped!

Define "brutal truth" - one man's truth is another man's delusion.
