"Volksgemeinschaft" was the foundation of the philosophy used for facism. Basically, it requires the citizens to accept being subordinate to the good of the country under a racially unified and hierarchically organized body. Additionally, it requires a mandatory acceptance that the "community" would be permanently prepared for war and would accept the discipline that is required during periods of war (and rest to prepare for further war).
