Does Canada observe the American Thanksgiving Holiday the same day America does?

According to my wall calendar, Thanksgiving Day in Canada was on October 8 this year (which was also when Columbus Day was observed in the US).

No ....Canada does not recognizeThanksgiving on the same day as America.

I'm not sure of the exact date but i think they have their thanksgiving in october
