My computer was going straight to the desktop upon start up, but now it goes to the login screen first. (My kids must have been messing with the settings). It doesn't require a password, I just have to click on my user account (which is the only account on the computer). How do I get it to bypass the login screen? I have Vista Home Premium. I have already done the controluserpasswords2 and gone in and set up the computer to automatically log me in, but for some reason it doesn't work! Help!

Go to User Accounts in the Control Panel and make sure that there is no name or password attached to the Admin account. Also be sure that your kids haven't set up an account to themselves.
