I thought she cared about peace, but it seems like she only cares about power. Your thoughts?

Oct 6 - Musharraf wins most votes in a presidential election but he must wait for the Supreme Court to confirm the legality of his bid before being declared the winner.

are you kidding? she was the democratically elected president, and musharraf took over in a military coup. now he puts the country under martial law, puts her under house arrest, and you're blaming her?

Care about Peace? Really, has she started a war? I didn't realize that people were taking up arms and starting an armed revolution.
Oh, I'm sorry, that would be what a communist would do. She must be something else then.
Maybe she's taking the lessons from history and studying the tactics of others who have tried to make changes in a society without armed conflict.

Gee, one would think it was th Court (who Musharraf suspended) that was to rule he could not be elected again..
Further, how did Bhutto instigate Martial Law or suspend the constitution?

Pakistan had a hostile atmosphere before Bhutto showed up. Perhaps she like a majority of Pakistanis think it's time to change their government

She's struggling for what she believes in. It takes a lot of courage for her to return there and try to create reform. Hopefully these events will not destabilize Pakistan in the process.

I would have to agree with Quimby on that one, she's a power hungry political whore, Hillary in a hijab. Besides, she's allready run Pakistan, into the ground, twice.

She is as crooked as they come yet is playing the victim. Her financial scandals when she was Pakistan's Prime Minister outshine her attempts at martyrdom.
