It takes some organisation and the authorities have obviously well threatened or bought off the original protesters. I think the way this bunch of clowns we have would probably have you arrested under the anti-terrorism laws because you terrorise the government if you so anything like that. They might even have you renditioned to a US Base in Afghanistan or elsewhere. Not legal this Government obviously does not much care for that. Justification for this view two words: Doctor Kelly

I'm a "professional" driver as a service Engineer I drive at least 35000 miles PA in the UK alone. No I'm not paid to shut up!!
It p*sses me off every time I fill up, almost daily. These extra costs get passed on to our customers which p*sses them off. Every driver should stand up and take note. When it comes to election time ask the party clown knocking on your door their view on fuel taxation.

The USA's knowledge of stealth technology is insignificant compared to that of Gordon Brown. If he feels that a tax increase will bring down the Government he just puts a tax on the tax so nobody notices or announces the increase a year beforehand so's everybody's forgotten.
Typical accountant!

I think we have! I heard that petrol was 9pence a litre in Egypt, if it goes up much more it will put so many companies into trouble, we will end up a country reliant on imported stuff because no one can afford to haul it in this country!
I will protest, where shall we meet!!?

seventy one% is only tax which works directly to the treasury. government is attempting to advance greater revenues from taxation with the intention to stabilize the countries financial device, different might argue to shrink the congestion and pollution. despite the fact that it is so costly now, make me choose for to stroll :( the only element we can do is to shrink our intake of gasoline which will for this reason shrink the call for for gasoline and then finally decrease costs..theoretically! How ever gasoline is so cost inelastic that it heavily shouldn't take place, we possibly will only ought to submit with it or purchase greater gasoline powerful vehicles. And as vat greater to twenty% final week our petrol and diesel grew to become much greater costly!
