A weekend away, somewhere secluded

A day at the spa

A homemade dinner by you

Maybe a letter telling her how much you appreciate her. You know how women love to be told they're appreciated.

Some kind of jewelry that symbolizes your relationship or how long you have been together. Or a journey diamond "with every step your love grows". www.adiamondisforever.com

If she into animals, a puppy. We swoon over small baby animals.

Hope this gives you some sense of direction.

I guess I am just too suspicious--if I were your wife I would wonder what you were apologizing for!

Is there something she has hinted she wants, or something that truly represents her personality or interests? If you gave her something that indicated you were really paying attention, I think that would be a definite plus.

If you can't come up with something using that criteria, then I would say you probably can't go wrong with bling (unless she's clearly NOT a bling person) or flowers. If you have a house with a yard, how about a rose bush or other flowering shrub to plant in the yard rather than cut flowers that will only last a couple of days? Other generic items might include perfume or other indulgent toiletries, lingerie, or a sweet treat.
A coupon for a spa day or shopping spree might be nice, too!

Well, you're hot so that is a start :) Seriously though, the best thing my husband did for me was on our anniversary, he made reservations at our favorite place - "he" arranged babysitting, "he" did everything to make it possible. Told me to get dressed up and never told me what we were doing. It was the best! When we were married ten years, I made him a photo album of our lives together up to that point. I wrote really deep stuff in it and it moved him a great deal. I feel that the best gifts are the ones that have deep meaning or show that you were listening to her somewhere along the way. Good luck and it is nice that you are thinking of this like you are.

That's very sweet, but do just what you said, go out and find her something that means something to you. No not like a new plasma but something that if you gave her she will know it was from you, from the heart. What does she like, what are her hobbies, maybe get something for both of you, time to bond or to just get away. This is a very thoughtful gesture but will lose all meaning if you buy her something based on what others say.

Good Luck

How sweet of you. My husband does this every blue moon. Not in gifts though -- mainly dinner. Anyway, I would say a gift certificate and flowers or a day at the spa or jewelry.

I do this for my friends - I buy a gift bag, tissue paper (decorative), a box of chocolates, bubble bath, spray/perfume, bath pearls and a card. The card should be something like 'Just a note to say' or 'Thankyou'. The 'JANTS' - on the inside, you should write 'How truly wonderful you are and I appreciate this along with your beauty, each and every day.' The 'TY' - on the inside should say, 'For being the one truly most beautiful thing in this world.' or something to that effect. Trust me, from personal experience of giving them, it works and makes people quite emotional. =)

Sorry but if you want an "out of my heart" gift, you shouldn't be taking other peoples ideas - by definition they will not be out of YOUR heart but out of someone else's

Think about her, and why you love her, think about what she loves - take 30 minutes thinking - then you will remember some things

If you dont think of anything you need to pay more attenion the next few days and watch what she is eyeing up in catolgues or shops - there will be a continual stream of hints trust me

Dont know who sad clicked me, becasue this is the RIGHT answer - love is not bought in a hamper it is personal to the girl in a way only someone intimate can know

There are generic women human beings artists. Mary Cassat, Grandma Moses, and Georgia O'Keefe are in easy terms some who come today to recommendations. it particularly is totally complicated to make a residing as an artist and in the previous, dad and mom frequently sent in easy terms their sons to artwork college. it particularly is one reason there are not as many lady artists as men. in spite of the shown fact that, multiple the generic male artists of today are not particularly that great yet are wonderful at self-merchandising. Edit: for people who do no longer understand, Marilyn Vos Savant is married to Dr. Robert Jarvik, one in each of a set of researchers that invented the synthetic coronary heart. i do no longer prefer to sound crass yet that gadget has in easy terms been implanted in some human beings and has had constrained success. i've got not got faith it particularly is been used by way of fact the Eighties. To be ordinary, i do no longer understand if that has finished lots greater for humanity than writing columns that are examine by ability of tens of millions of human beings.

One great thing my husband did for me once was to cook dinner, then afterwards he got a nice hot bath ready for me with candles and a book to read...and let me chill out for an hour. A back massage wouldn't hurt either. Of everything he's every bought for me or done for me, this is the one I always remember...and it was free...but a gift from the heart.

It's a 'just because' gift - lol.

Hmmm... my hubby does that a lot. It's usually flowers, a card, or just some little thing he knew I wanted like a cd or something.

Two times he has blown me away with diamonds though. Those are really good 'just because' gift. lol

Good luck - I'm sure she will love anything that you get for her.
