I took 6 iburofin with in the last week, How bad is that? Scared...... I know now Tylenol only.........

Tylenol is the only pain reliever you can use durning your whole pregnany. I used Ibuprofin before I was pregnant and found that tylenol just doesn't work for me, but I drink a soda with caffenine and take two extra strength tylenol and my headaches seem to go away pretty quickly. My doctor always used to say that you get headaches because of the caffenine withdrawl, but I was never a caffenine drinker before pregnancy. Now I drink a soda a day to prevent headaches and it seems to work and the doctor says that one caffenine soda a day is perfectly safe. Good luck and hope whatever you need the tylenol for, it works for you!!

Tylenol yes Ibuprofin no....the Ibuprofin can cause side effects for the baby.

It probably won't be bad, but if you end up in the hospital for anything soon let them know that you had it. The risk with ibuprofin is because it is a blood thinner and your blood supply increases by as much as 50% while you are pregnant so if you were to end up bleeding seriously it could be hard for it to stop and you could lose too much blood. I would maybe talk to your doctor about it just in case, but don't stress over it too much. Just don't take anymore.

and my Ob told me u can use advil too if you have no bleeding problems
but I would double check that I only take tylenol :)
I am actually on tylenol 3s right now because of the pains I am having this pregnancy

Yes to Tylenol, but there are risks in the third trimester.
I am unsure regarding ibuprofen.
