gosh....i'm kinda afraid to answer your question. i mean like its so personal and everything. im not sure if i should or not...too many people might think im silly or something if i really tell the truth about myse............NOT!
Just kidding!!!
Actually I try to keep a balance going, an even keel, not too high, not too low. And I can sense when my attitude is getting too negative ~~ that's when I know it's time to change some aspect about my routine, get some extra sleep, get up and smell the sunshine, engage in some mindless chatter with a neighbor, talk to some dog like he really understands, breathe deeply for a few minutes, and smile at everyone for one whole day until I find someone worse-off than me.
Keep 'em guessin', I always say.
Basically, not let others determine MY self-esteem...I take care of that one!

No. Sweetie a true feeling of honest self-esteem comes from a lot of success in school, in friends, in family, in personality, in educating oneself, in experience, at work, hobbies, research, sports, reading, movies, looks, exercise the way you like it be it horse-riding, bowling, swimming, walking, or whatever. It takes a lot of time and energy to build-up this feeling. You have done that.
If it turned 'to dust in one little moment', it will return and very soon. Some parts might have been damaged, however there is too much of you for it to be extinguished. Time and perspective will bring it back and sooner than you think.

well, my self esteem has never really been all that high. but, there was a point where i felt more comfortable with myself. i thought i changed for the better. decided to have a different attitude. but, that came crashing down. honestly, it felt like just a moment.

I can honestly answer no to this one. Self-esteem is one thing I have yet to grasp. While there may be moments, my humility seems to conquer said moments and keep me grounded enough to keep me in my "safe" mode.

...indeed, that's affirmative...after the "sting" wears off, then sometimes, you realize, it may be a good thing because your head was getting too big for your shoulders...
