I would guess that in other places, the typical work schedule is different from the "8 to 5" time frame common in America. You have to cater to local habits.

It's a business they're going to do what the market dictates, some places they can open at 5 AM and others not until 7 AM, because no one is there earlier. Some countries really like the breakfast and it's very popular so the hours are longer other places not so much, so it's shorter. Trouble is if you don't want breakfast, they can't cook the breakfast items on the same grill as the burgers so you can't have it both ways.

Of course if you're talking about traveling to other countries there's the obvious time difference. You might be ready to eat dinner because your local time is 5:00 PM but it's really 10:00 AM where you land they want breakfast then.

What time are you eating your "Dinner"? The one I work at is open 24 hours so we start serving breakfast at 4am. Ones that are not open 24 hours start serving breakfast at whatever time they open. Some open at 5am and some open at 6. And it is not spelled REDICULOUS, it is ridiculous!

Basically it depends on the location. Small town McDonald's don't have as much demand. But bigger cities have a higher demand for it? It's kind of hard to explain.
