The European voltage is standardised at 240V now, so no problems on that front. You just need a tourist adapter to plug it into a 3 pin socket.

The French TV system is SECAM, but the Wii should work over here on the PAL system because it's a European model. They don't make a separate model for the French market.

I advise against it as I think French voltage is 110 -120 so you could damage the machine.

Internally it is likely to run at same voltage wherever in the world it comes from so check output on power supply and buy UK universal supply with matching output.

Don't blame me if it blows up.

Yep just need the adapter for the plug and it'll work fine. My friend's German one does.

yeah with an adapter they cost about 6 quid for a good one
