I watched it a couple of times in amazement. If I was a guy I wouldn't just think twice-I would run as fast as I can as far as I can. If foreigners watch that it would give all Americans a bad name. Some of these gals need mom to turn them over a knee.

I don't watch it. It's garbage.
I think weddings are done wrong these days. Time to toss some of the traditions.
It should be the bride and groom having the wedding and the 2 of them together planning it and inviting the guests. They are the ones that plan to spend their lives together after all!
I think getting extend family involved is where everything goes wrong. Then this B.S. of the bride's family "giving her away" is total garbage...then it's her "special day" rather than the special day for both bride and groom...stupid, stupid, stupid. And they wonder why some of the brides go all Pi**y-Pouty-Princess on them...pretty obvious to me. If it were about the both of them and they both planned it and PAID for it themselves there would be less materialistic childishness involved in weddings and you'd see more of the seriousness involved in the event.

Marriage has become as commercialized as Christmas. It's almost as if these women want to get married just so they can have a lavish wedding. They're like grown-up versions of the kids on My Super Sweet 16.

The funny thing is that some of these women are not like that at any other time in their life. Their wedding seems to bring out the worst in them.

I think those women are silly. In a country with a high divorce rate, spending huge bucks on a wedding makes no sense. That's because when these women do get divorced, they're still paying off those lavish weddings plus they're stuck with wedding pictures they will never want to see again.

I hate the show, personally. I know it's a big deal to most women, but surely, the pressure can be handled with more grace than those women show.

I think it doesn't reflect any women I know or would WANT to know. They're all about the gown, the ring, the catering, and don't care much about the bridegroom. It's disgusting.
