-8m -6 < 10

add 6 to both sides
you get -8m < 4
divide by -8 ( ps whenever you divide or multiply by a negative the sign flips around)
you get m > -1/2

8p + 1(>than or = to) 17
subtract 1 from both sides
you get 8p (> than or = to) 16
divide each side by 8
you get p ( > than or = to) 2

24 ( > or = to) 5z -6
add 6 to both sides
you get 30 ( > or = to) 5z
divide both sides by 5
you get 6 ( > or = to) z

8> 2 + b/3

subtract 2 from both sides
you get 6 > b/3
multiply both sides by b
you get 6b > 3
divide both sides by 6
you get b > 1/2
