I can't find anything about Germany and I need to know what kind of land it has and what kind of people live there. Any extra info would be great THANKS!

Was stationed there back in the early to mid 60's, Army, thought it was a great and wonderful country in many ways ahead of the US, never saw the grinding poverty we seem to tolerate here in the USA. They had allot of Turks from Turkey living and working there.
As far as the country it self reminded me allot of PA & NY same kind of terain and weather with castels on top of most every major hill. Food was always good and the beer fantistic.
If I ever had to pick another country to live in out side of Canada, it would be Germany in a hart beat.
