shampoo works just as well as woolite for handwashing woollens/delicates in cold water.

Woolite is only good for spending your money. If you want a good hand wash detergent get the cheapest hair shampoo on the shelf. It works the same way and is much less expensive.

instead of purchasing shampoo to remove deposits from hair use Woolite this is used in some salons Good Luck !

Originally it was to hand wash wool clothing. Now it is used for hand washing delicates. A little liquid dish soap is just as effective and much cheaper.
