At my school there is a briliant teacher (my favorite) who I like a lot , and because it's my last year in the school I would like to get her something very nice and something that she would keep forever in the memory of me.

So I was thinking getting her a very nice gold neklace, but I dont know would that be gay????

Do you think it would be a good present to her???

You could try a personalized christmas ornament? I think jewlery isn't a good idea from a student to a teacher.

you cannot buy her a gold neklace, a teacher is not allowed to accept a gift from a student, HOWEVER a box of chocolates is a totally different thing altogether (please dont ask why because im not sure, it has something to do with the fact its ediable
Maybe try something like a personalised chocolate from thorntons, or even a card, a card is something she can keep and isnt classed as a gift.
If you do get her a necklace, maybe get your mom or dad to go with you to give it to her, otherwise she wont be able to accept it

good luck x

I would skip the jewelry and go for something electronic. Like something from Best Buy. Why not a used computer or a dvd of a tv show? Find out what are some of her favorite shows.

But go the Best Buy route.

I highly doubt the teacher would think you were hitting on her if you gave her a goodbye present. Just be sure to include a note explaining how she has made an impact in your life. Don't make it sound like a love letter, but make it clear why you think she deserves a great gift from you.

Save your money--
write her a letter and tell her how much you appreciate her! That is something she can keep forever! She could read it over and over again! She could keep it in her desk at school. Truly, a letter or something personal would be more meaningful than something you buy at a store! A necklace is nice, but kind of impersonal.

Something more personalized would be better. Even if it's a necklace with something engraved on it. Just be sure to include a heartfelt card to go along with it. :)
