How do they name their kid without sounding like a pair of pompous idiots?

This is exactly what I envisioned and why I chose to not hyphenate my children's last names. I was honestly considering it because my father had all girls and i would've liked to have carried on his name.
I ended up keeping my maiden name and adding my husband's last name to mine, and my children will all have their father's last name.

I guess they would choose one of the surnames. If they kept all the hypenated names, by the time they wrote their name on a piece of paper, it would be the end of school!

I think people should keep their names (woman) and there should be no hyphenating crap. The child can take the father's name so it is short and sweet.

It's quite simple. . . They have to make their kid into a Homosexual. It's easy to do . . . A lot of parents do that, anyway. And by doing that, the kid can never be married because as we all know . . . Gaze can NOT EVER marry Gaze.
