Now I know neo-con chickenhawks will try to put a spin on this but it is very difficult to twist this. He was another Hitler....he had WMD's but had the compassion not to use them????? He did not have them-we were lied to ..........He had plenty of time now chicken hawkies...it wasn't like it was a suprise attack. Oh yea he got scared and shipped them to Syria....

He didn't use them because he no longer had them.
The UN inspectors were finding nothing. I think that fact actually upset Bush and that's why he wouldn't let the UN inspectors finish their inspections. The stated excuse for invasion would have been invalidated.

Stock pilling is the trick to winning with any weapons. The more you have the better your chances but then I wouldn't expect you to know that, you have to have an educated military mind for that and clearly you're one of the whining liberals.
We did find some of his WMDs and we captured one of Saddam's generals who admitted that he sent the majority of them to Syria. There were at least 3 stories on it by CNN not to mention FOX had a couple. Guess you don't read much.

1. If Hussein didn't have WMDs... please explain the findings of the UN when they did allow inspectors in there which prompted sanctions to force them to discontinue their production?
2. If Hussein didn't have WMDs... please explain all the dead Kurds that he used them on... did he just expose them to Rosie O'Donnell's rhetoric crap and that killed them?
3. If Hussein didn't have WMDs... please explain the Iranians who died as a result of his use of them against Iran in their war. Oh yeah, brainiac... we sold them to him... so we know he had them.
So... I know what you're going to say now, because Liberal parrots are SOOO predictable ~ 'but why didn't he use them on American troops as they invaded?'
VERY easy to answer... I'm amazed this isn't clear to you:
During the first Gulf War, we didn't finish the job. That's right, we left before we got Saddam. Then during the entire eight years of Clinton Administration, we didn't finish ANY job. We went in, made a show of being present, but then left without any form of resolution. Saddam's belief was that we'd do the same thing, so he sent the WMDs and materials North to Syria and went into hiding.
What he didn't count on was our determination to get him this time. Had he known, he MIGHT have made a very different decision... but then again, he STILL may not have... because he KNEW if he'd used them on American troops, we'd have been so outraged we'd have taken him out for sure.
He knew his only hope of survival was for the US to follow its trend and not commit to victory. He didn't count on Bush.
Had he killed 10,000 troops with gas... do you honestly think we'd have withdrawn and left him in power? He knew this.
If Bill Clinton had still been President... or Al Gore... he'd still be killing his opponents in Iraq and nothing would have been done... but even they would have taken him out if he'd used his WMDs.
He gambled, he lost.
But you STILL insist that we were lied to. Sad. If you need to believe that to sleep at night... go ahead... but it doesn't make it true.
I'm sorry the truth doesn't sit well with you... but then again... if the truth really mattered to Liberals, Hillary would not have any support.

It's not spin, it's facts that he did use them, not during the Iraq war but previously.
To just think he didn't posses them at all is ignorant because he did and it's obvious that something happened to them during the time that he continuously violated 16 UN resolutions.
Saddam was no gentleman, he was a cold blooded evil tyrant.

He did have them. But does anyone remember the sanctions between our 2 conflicts? Remember weapons inspectors? Remember UN inspectors tell the US that sanctions were working, and that there is no evidence of WMD's or the ability to produce them?
