I was expecting a package through USPS Media. According to the tracking, a delivery was attempted at the address at 7:30am and a notice was left on Monday, November 12th. First of all, this was a holiday (Veteran's Day Observed). Second of all, there was no notice left and there were people home to receive the package at the time. I don't understand what happened here.

Sadly, your best guess will never be good enough when dealing with the US Postal Service. There is very little rhyme or reason there and the best you can do is go to the post office, make sure you have your ID and a print out of the tracking number and attempted delivery information. They should be able to give you the package. Good luck!

Contact the delivery company and tell them to re-deliver it.

Always request TRACKING service, with time/day/date/ signature, when sending or receiving a package, via courier services, UPS, FedEx, etc.
