That is not true. My son never used a teething ring and he has a full set of teeth. He didn't like them either. Kids just get teeth at different times. If you are worried about it, take her to a dentist. Good luck!

I have never heard that, I have three kids and they all teethed differently my oldest we did not even know she was getting teeth and one day she had a tooth at about 11months and same for my son he had two teeth at 11months but my baby who turned 11months on Sunday has no teeth. So it all depends on the baby. Teething rings have nothing to do with it. It just depends when those little teeth decide to pop up. Don't feel like you have to give your baby teething rings for her to cut teeth especially if she does not like them. Teething rings I think are more for comfort when they are teething gives them something to chew on. Good Luck don't worry her little teeth will come in due time!!!

That's hogwash. Your teeth come in when they come in. Teething rings are just used to ease the discomfort after teething has already started. My children didn't get any teeth til after they were 12 months old. They also didn't lose their first baby teeth until after they were 6 years old. Apparently, I was also a late teether and I lost my last baby tooth at 17. It happens.

No. All baby's get teeth at different times. Each child develops differently with teeth. Do not be concerned.

A teething ring has NOTHING to do with it.

What would teething rings have to do with anything?

Her teeth grow because her body releases hormone that stimulate that function. Each body has its own time line. I didnt have any teeth until after I was a year old, and didnt get molars until I was nearly 20 months.

She's herself, and she's fine.

lol... there's a new old wives tale

she's normal...my daughter didn't erupt her first teeth until 10 and a half months...

I've seen a few kids w/ no teeth at their first bday party. I think the average age to get a first tooth is 5-7 months, but between birth and 18 months is normal.

has nothing to do w/ toys.

Of course that's not why. Think about people born before teething rings were invented. Wouldn't there have been a lot of people living their entire lives with no teeth? ;)

NO! All children get teeth in at different times. I was told by my pediatrician that the older they are when their teeth come in, the better they are in regards to the enamel.

Your daughter will have stronger healthier teeth.
