OK actually my period is due today... I took a reg just wlagreens preg test and the line in the first window is a lil fainter than the line in the 2nd window.. With my first child it was like BOOM the first line was right there .. SO my question is should i retest or should i start celebrating??

START CELEBRATING!! Congrats!! I got a positive reading today too!! WHOOHOO!! =) the longer you wait after you have your period the bolder the line, thats why it was so faint.

It depends not only on the amount of hCg in your system (why some people say test later to get a darker line because the hormones are higher) but also on the amount of dye used in the pregnancy test. Some tests are simply lighter than others. The chances of the test giving a false positive are very slim so most doctors accept even a faint line as a positive result. Sounds like congratulations are in order!
Just a side note: If you wait too long before checking the test it is possible for a faint line to show up and not be a positive result, just like it is possible for the line to disappear after a while. Make sure that you waited the appropriate amount of time and didn't leave it for 30 minutes and then come back and check. Otherwise, you are almost definitely pregnant!

Hi! Thats how my first 3 tests were really light then after a couple days they got darker, and I took one 2 nights ago just because I found a 99 cent store test under the sink! and it showed a dark positive line right away. I think if theres a line even a faint line your pregnant!

Any line is a positive line. I had the same thing happen. To confirm, either wait a few days and test again or go to the store and buy the pregnancy test that says "pregnant" or "not pregnant".

i do no longer know i know a few tests have diverse symbols I took an E.P.T and that i've got been given 2 likes yet with them you'll have a plus sign and a line. circulate to the clean blue information superhighway website and notice.

i took 4 and the four of them were faint so faint can hardly see them and iam 13 weeks and 3 days now congrats

omg yep, sure have both times i was pregnant with my kids. you should take one more and see. a faint positive is still a positive.
