I have heard women say this. I wear jeans, as long as i can get into them. A friend told me I looked so much younger when I wear any kind of pants - this I took as a compliment!. I love long skirts, but as long as I can fit into my jeans I am going to wear them.

Now you are not going to find as many older women, I'm talking over the age of 65 or 70, in jeans because those were not stylish for women in their younger years, and many of them still hold that sentiment. However I think as the Boomers age, you're going to see more and more older women wearing jeans because they're such a staple of modern fashion.
