I've just been blocked, and I'm not sure what I did. I really liked this users Q's too.

So what makes you personally decide to block a user?

I will only block somone if they send me offensive emails, who has blocked you? I will ask them for you if you want?

Who ever is giving thumbs up to that WANKER at the top needs their heads kicked in just as much as he does.

One I blocked because he went berzerk after I pointed out that some vital information was missing in his "riddle," which made for too many possible answers. He got pissed, posted personal information about me that he must've researched online, and changed his screen name to mine.

Another person was sending me weird e-mails out of the blue, said I was "guilty of my first answer" (sic), which was a list of video games for Playstation 3. Then he said some weird crazy crap about how he knows I'm wet behind the ears. Couldn't spell for crap either, and ended every sentence with quotation marks. A strange dude.

Other than that, I block people who have blocked me. It's just safer that way. I don't think I've ever blocked anybody otherwise. I've had a few people block me out of the blue -- including a contact or two.

I will block people like racists. Not because I don't like them as individuals...I don't know them. I just don't want to discuss anything with them because it is a waste of my time. I am never going to agree with them.

I have also blocked a few who send abusive emails.

I am also blocked by a couple of users. I am not sure why but I don't lose any sleep over it.

I blocked someone ( rather three people ) because they're frustrating and uncivilized , I don't mean an insult or a comment , they in a way crossed over the line

Note - I answered one of their questions , she e-mailed me and was quite ' directive ' , as for the other two they were trolls

This occurred in the R&S section

I only block when I feel they are trolls. I don't get offended by peoples answers or questions but some people will block for those reasons.

I blocked someone today.
He posted a question which asked for an opinion.
He received several answers (including mine), all of whom disagreed with him to varying degrees.
He sent me a personal email, explaining his point further - I replied in the same way.
He then added his disagreement with me to the question (he also did this to the other answerers).
I then got another, more aggressive email from him. I replied that he should leave it, as he wasn't going to change my mind.
To ensure I didn't get any more correspondence, I blocked him. I feel less threatened now.

I've never blocked anyone. But if they started sending me derogatory emails, then I would block them. I read most your stuff on here. I've never seen you get out of line with anyone! Sorry someone did that to you.

I've blocked one who sent me a yucky email, some people take things the wrong way, if you don't have something nice to say then don't say anything at all!
