Yes they do. And as long as someone is there (on the clock) that knows how to operate the machine, then they will. Wal-mart makes copies too, fyi.

RE:
Does Home Depot make copies of keys?
If so, do they only do so during certain hours or is this service available during all store hours?

Yes they do the service, but I had a very negative experience.
The person who operated the machine made three keys in three different sizes and I ended up walking out without any of them able to start my car. I am debating whether to call that store today to complain because someone should be able to walk in, get the service...and get out.
Unfortunately, I have to continue to look around unless when I do call, it will be done accurately.
One key opened the door, and the other two did absolutely nothing.
If you are looking for a mixed bag, I would recommend going there.

All store hours. I made a copy of my keys at home depo. I just gave them the key that needs a copy and they did it less than 3 mins. In the beginning it was hard to use the new key (door took longer to open), but then it got used to being used.

Home Depot gave me some excuse and wouldn t cut my car key for me. After a little investigation, he wouldn t cut it for me because I brought in my own blank and they can only charge for the cut if I buy a blank key from them. I just went next door to Lowes and they were happy to do it for me free without giving me BS excuses like Home Depot. I will never goto HD and just goto Lowes from now on for anything home related.

There is always a guy in the hardware department who can run the machine and make a copy in minutes.. Same for Lowe's.

They do and yes, it's available any time they are open. The problem is someone is usually not manning the area. Go to customer service and ask them to call someone to the department.
