Your question is not completely clear. If you are asking how good it has to be to get into at least one college in NJ -- then the answer is that you just have to graduate from high school. Some college will take you.

But if you are asking how good it has to be so that you can get into any college in NJ that you want -- then the answer is different. In order to get into Princeton, for example, you need a 3.8 unweighted GPA, 2200 SAT scores, lots of AP and honors classes and a great admission essay.
