Is it ....illegal Immigration, Healthcare, Same Sex Marriage, the (ending of) War, what?

I want our men out of Iraq as soon as possible...

I want cost effective healthcare provided for those who cannot afford it..preserving our middle class Americans..as these are the people being hit the hardest.

I am against iIlegal Immigration, we cannot go to any country and just stay..what's good for us is good for everyone. Why should the rules bend?

I'm not sold on same sex marriage yet.....I don't know what to say to the kids when this happens? It will confuse them?

illegal immegration, and ethics.

same sex marriage is a back burner issue now, and the war will continue even if hillary is voted in. (even though her website says her #1 goal is to end the war)

For me, it's ending the war. The war is a disaster on so many fronts and is so draining in so many ways.

I think one of the big issues, one of the things that is very important to me is fence mending. We need to try to bring the right and the left closer together. We are so divided and gridlocked as a nation and a government that we have to agree on some sort of a track.

I agree with Ms. D though, all of those issues you listed are incredibly important (as well as many others), it is important to not get hung up on just one stance on one issue. Like Sam F said, so much really is going so wrong right now.

National Defense. This included the war on Terrorism, securing the border and expelling all illegal aliens.

Unless we neutralize the terrorists and keep them out of our country no other issue matters.

I believe it's all the things you named, and those added by answerers,
But, I think honesty, credibility, and a good vision of how we can recover from the Bush reign, will have more weight than what position a candidate takes on any one issue.

I'm still waiting for that person to step up !

Who can raise the most money. Nothing else really matters in American politics today. Whomever spends the most money owns the country for four years.

it's hard to pinpoint one issue.

so many things are going so badly.

to me the most important issue is the war in Iraq, it's bad, coming up with some working plan...

Hopefully it is all of the above but most people cannot concentrate on more than one issue at a time.
