You don't want to to that. It will freeze and crack if there is any water left in it.

If you have a "frost-free" faucet, you can leave the water supply to it on all winter. You cannot leave a hose connected to it though. Frost-free faucets are installed to drain when turned off at the handle. If it doesn't drain, it will freeze. Bottom line, you can leave the faucet supply on, but must disconnect the hose when not using.

The garden hose will broke in winter if you leave it on and then the house might have water.

make sure there's nothing attached to it so all the water will run out when you stop using it or the water will freeze and can burst the spigot. If you have a sprayer or something attached you're asking for trouble.
