we as true americans help build this country and make it what it is today. what would the soilders who died for this country say if they knew what was happening to America? Are we going to let the mexicans from mexico take our freedom from us? Did our brave soilders die so we could give it to the mexicans? i am not against people trying too have a better life, but when so many come at once and then say they are going take Texas back, and now there all over the United States, and why did they digrace our flag that our you men and women died for? why are we letting this happen? is there a answer to this problem? I love America and i don't want it to be like mexico. why can't they just go home? why is our goverment letting this happen?

I have news for you, the only true "Americans" would be Apache, Navajo, Sioux or any other member of the Indian nations. Most Mexicans fall into that bracket.
As for you, and many other Xenophobics (look it up, RN), it would do you good to study history. Most "American Families" came to the continent less than 100 years ago, most came fleeing from hunger and war in Europe, Asia, and Africa, although African people was enslaved and brought against their will.
Many "foreigners", like myself, pay more taxes to the U.S. Government in one year than all of your lifelong contributions put together, And I do not even live in the U.S., I just employ some 150 people in the U.S. many of them, of Latin American, European and African backgrounds.
The predominant language in Texas, California, Florida, New York and some other states is Spanish, in case you have not noticed, the only disgrace to your flag is your ignorant attitude.
There are terrible things about Mexico, but then again there are also such terrible things in the U.S., and France, and Spain or the U.K. You should visit Mexico, today it is not that different from the U.S., and remember that poverty and hunger exist everywhere, as also residential areas with manicured lawns.
Mexico has also an immigration problem, and sadly, Mexicans react to it in the same ignorant fashion as you do.

When the people rise up, and hang the Lawyers, this mess will stop. We've tried time and time again, but every time the people cast their votes, some greedy 'peoples advocate' lawyer raises a stink, some leftist judge rules the bill to be "unconstitutional", and it goes into legal limbo, never to be heard from again. The american left has learned over and over again that if they kick and scream enough on ANY issue, that they will get their way, and it will never stop. Sorry...
To be fair though, we're all technically immigrants here though. And for anyone who wants to play the "indian card", seriously....you're not even native to this land either. You just got here before the rest of us.

It is not only the government, but also a great number of businesses who profit from the influx of illiterate and illegal immigrants. These a future fodder for manipulation to get votes for politicians. However, you could see earlier this year that the people still have some power against the self-anointed elites who patronize the population.

I LIKE TO EAT!!! I have never seen anyone in Calif. in 55years harvesting ALL the food in the fields, we millions here and all over the USA have food all year long because of the mexican workers. I am not Mexican, Iv'e always lived in the country, I've always had good eyesight and a healthy appetite however.

I have to agree with you. I am not prejudiced but I also want to know why this is allowed. All these other nationalities claim to love their own countryies so much and their heritage, so if that is the case why do they all want to move to the US? Remember these things when you vote in 08. Pay close attention to the candidates that agree with you also. Plus, did you see the one candidate that refused to place his hand over his heart during the pledge? Guess who isn't getting my vote!

I have heard that mexicans do pay taxes, but they cannot claim for returns, since they are illegal.
Besides, who hires those illegal mexicans?
And, well...maybe you have seen that in the army there is a sizeable number of foreigners, not only Mexicans....so, those foreigners you dislike so much are also fighting in favour of the American way of life...
