Michigan is pretty bad! Flint, Saginaw and Detroit are on the top of the lists for a lot of crime. I think Flint might have been ranked number 1. The down fall of that city goes back to when they closed down an automotive plant back in the 70's or 80's. Saginaw seems to be on the local news all the time for shootings. Detroit well its Detroit! They have been trying to clean up the down town area. My opinion is that there are some corrupt politicians that run Detroit. The overall status of Michigan just sucks right now. Thanks Granholm oh and I can't forget Engler the former Gov. of Michigan.

Maryland is bad in all sorts of levels. It's by far the worst state I've ever been in. Baltimore's homicidal rate has increased alot since I moved 4 years ago. Its much safer in the white neighborhooods (go ahead and call my *** racist) but unless you walk the hoods in Baltimore and ever think you could feel safe there then you will know what I mean. its all about drugs, senseless muders and shootings about God knows what and I had to rent a place with rates higher than a grand a month just to feel safe which I have. And its sad becasue walking along the water at night or at the harbor baltimore can be the best place on earth at times alas I have to settle for indoor fun and American idol ...geesh
