I absolutely believe that with the vast nature of the universe it is utterly ridiculous to believe that we are the only forms of life out there. However, this does not mean that I necessarily believe that aliens visit this planet or are in any way contactable to us. I kind of think they have visited us but I have no proof.

I have to agree with you, I feel as it could be a disastrously naive position for someone to take. Given the fact that there are more stars visible in the night sky then grains of sand on every beach in the state of Florida. Also one has to consider just how vast space really is, and the fact that micro life forms have been found not only in places on earth that scientist through impossible but also in samples taken from mars.
Given this and the fact that no all life forms will need the same environment as we do I think that there must be life other then our own around the universe.

Yes, even if only at the international space station, but I believe there is life beyond that. It's almost statistically impossible that there isn't.
There are 300 billion stars in the Milky Way galaxy alone, and hundreds of billions of galaxies like ours.
There have been about 250 planets found orbiting the relatively miniscule number of stars we've observed in search of other planets. The odds so far are 1/250, but we haven't even done a physical search for life on any planets outside of our solar system.

A few years back we thought there were aliens on Mars. A few years before that we had not even discovered Pluto. A few years before that there was no way man could ever fly. Go back a little more and Earth was flat. Go way back and Earth was the center of the universe.
Now that we know what we know we need to get rid of the old fashioned way of thinking. In the past couple of years we have discovered over 200 planets outside of our solar system. 200! A lot of them are believed to have water.
Where there is water, there is life!

Definitely, as far as human civilization has advanced technologically, we know very little about what is out there. All we know is that there are vast numbers of stars and galaxies, and many may have their own planets around them. Also life may not be the same as it is here on Earth, so I would say life is to be expected on Methane atmospheric planets and perhaps gas giants in one form or another.

I was gonna spout some windy BS explaining my "yes", but you summed it up very nicely. Well put. However, I don't think the "other life" is pullying flybys in American trailer parks. The distances are just a squidge vaster and the universe a mite bigger than most people can comprehend. There could be a full interactive galactic society with thousands of sentient races that are aware of us but just don't bother visiting. It's just not worth the thousand years of travel.

for sure. probably even some way advanced life too. i like to think of it like this, when a dog looks down at an ant and watches it run around, the ant has no concept of who or what the dog is, or why the ant dies when the dog eats it. the dog only has a limited concept of a human being as well. it'll never know the difference between italian and japanese architecture or what language or math is. likewise, there could very well be some sort of life form out there that looks at humans the way we look at dogs and ants.
maybe whenever theres a car accident its some advanced being screwing with us the way we can step on an ant.

science prooved it. PlanetX found in 2001, beleived to be a lifelike earth, containing grass, water, and a whole other solar system. they cannot provide physical evidence but the planet its self has 1000's of pictures from a space mission that exceeded pluto by accident. it was an forgotten shuttle beleived to be called Zorus explorer. it passed pluto only to find out that its ice is shown in red colours not blue. and that planet x does in fact live. Its 4 times larger than earths size, and has more ground than water, and believes to be the holder of future earth landings that will be held in the 2070's

Yes, it's conceded to think that out of all the millions and billions and trillions of universes and planets that ours is the only one with life on it. I'm not neccesarily saying that there is a civilization of little green men out there, but microbes, alien animals, or even civilizations could be out there.
