man, cannibals should be legal, alcohol causes more deaths every year more trouble at weekends, drunk drivers....

I smoke weed every day..... i have great job, studied hard to get where iam now... i go to work i look after my daughter , stay in lovely quite private estate in nice sized house it does not affect me or my wife, been smoking since i was 16 iam now 27.... i dont agree with other drugs...

When people say that cannibias leads to harder drugs they dont know anything...they prob not even tryed it...they just hear and say what other people say...

Free the weed!!

Amsterdam...love it...!! :)

Anything "natural" should be legal. If it grows out of the ground it should be legal. There are tons of man made drugs killing this country. Oxy-contin and other pills are tearing this country up. I have had a few friends get injured at work, the doc prescribes some pain kills and 3 weeks later they can't stop taking them. Its sad really. I've been to Amsterdam and guess what? Everybody in the coffee shops i went to was AMERICAN, and they went there to smoke pot without being harassed. Sad really that they went that far to smoke pot in peace.

All drugs should be legal. Perhaps not available without a prescription, but legal. This will pull the financial footing out from under most organized crime and allow more opportunities for treatment and a more successful life should you become addicted and beat it. People are not going to stop using drugs so let's control it and put the billions of dollars now made by criminals to use helping ourselves as societies.

i think all drugs should be legalised tax and vat should be paid on them and the high life taken away from the scum bags that deal in this misery (not for the users)but the poor sods that are robbed and beaten every day for the money to buy them at the end of the day alcohol probably kills more people every year and thats legal

to answer CB, if use is decriminalized, and small amounts can be grown, there would be no dealers!

i have smoked marijuana rather heavily for 10 years, and my memory is fine. i have memorized 11k digits of PI so far, and i am still going. Marijuana is less physically addictive than caffeine, and the only proven effects are temporary short term memory loss, and a lowering of testosterone.

So long as alcohol is legal, its hypocritical to criminalise people for partaking in other recreational drugs.

Yes, maybe then we would spend less money trying to bust people and we'd get our country out of debt. If people want it bad enough they are going to get it anyway.

And take all those profits from pharmaceutical companies who legally prescribe drugs that cause worse side effects?

But they won't let us...
