"Ok now that he isn't going to New York, where is he going? Any ideas? I heard the Sox?"
There are two "Sox" teams and hopefully, both are smart to avoid him. Is he a great player, no doubt. Is he a great player given his agent's asking price, the answer is no.
If he wants top dollar he should really sign for a single year at a time, who knows, in 10 years, $35 mil may be a bargain for 42 year old players.
I certainly hope enough teams avoid him to make the Arod camp change their tunes and I believe fans of those perspective 'sucker' teams should warn their teams against signing him.
Why would you want your favourite team to sign him, signal the rising of prices and guarantee you won't win the big show.

as a red sox fan, i'd like to say that he's not going to end up with us because us fans wouldn't let it happen...unfortunately, theo epstein and his counter parts don't do EVERYTHING that red sox nation demands. will they make an offer to arod???? only if the yanks get lowell (i'm praying we resign him) and even then the red sox will definitely low ball arod. he's not worth the money he's looking for. one thing about the red sox, they offer players what they're worth. yes, curt could've probably gotten more than he did somewhere else, but he knew what he was worth and didn't let any rings on his fingers tell him otherwise. i do hope lowell will have the same mentality, but you never know. so to answer your question, i dont think arod will end up with the sox, but i don't put it past the management of the team to make him an offer.

i'm doubtful on the Sox:
- first they have to fail to re-sign Lowell
- next I see them trying to package Bucholz to get Cabrera
- if that fails, they'll have kept the door open for A-rod; they're not afraid to pay the money, but they don't like to get hooked into players past about 37 years old - 5-6 year deal max f they go for him.
Angels, to me, make the most sense - they have money, an apathetic fan base they won't care he doesn't produce in October- he'll be in LA where he can be in the spotlight;
The Dodgers, however, seem to be showing the most interest, so they could be the front-runner right now.

I hope it's the Dodgers. They need a third baseman with a heavy bat. And with Joe Torre as Manager, the chances are good that A-Rod will join him.

The fans will not dictate where A-Rod goes - team management will. Angels, Dodgers, and Giants have been repeatedly named as top suitors.

Lil T doesn't like Alex Rodriguez? You sure do hide it well, don't you?
I'd agree with the Angels, though...they seem like the best destination.

is a traitor with no sense of loyalty whatsoever. As long as he doesn't go to my fave team I really don't care about him.
