Yes.

Oh, you want more information. He's still around, doing country and contemporary Christian music. Other hits from the '60s and '70s include "I'm so Lonesome I Could Cry," "The Eyes of a New York Woman," "Hooked on a Feeling," "Everybody's Out of Town" (my favorite), "Rock and Roll Lullaby," and "Another Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song." He also sang the theme for the '80s sitcom "Growing Pains."

Very much so. I especially loved his collaborations with Burt Bacharach (did I spell that right?..lol) I think my best recollection of him is "What a Difference You Made In My life" He had a wonderful smooth voice but I don't necessarily associate him with country music. I also think he has turned mostly to Christian music.
