Just really to confirm what Nurse Annie said. There is no test, the lack of an intact hymen is no proof that you have lost your virginity as it can be broken in many ways other than intercourse. And while others are saying a doctor can tell just by looking if you are sexually active - that really does depend on precisely what you have been doing, when, and how long before the appointment! There's certainly no way of proving that someone had penetrative sex after a while unless you ask them.
Besides - virginity is not about the hymen, regardless of what people believe. You are a virgin until you make the decision to have sex, regardless of whether that lil bit of skin is still in one piece or not. Personally, I hold onto the thought that it has to be given voluntarily as well (so someone who may have been assaulted is still a virgin, IMO, until they have consensual sex) but your opinions may differ there.
Either way, there is no test and unless the doctor examines you relatively soon after you have had intercourse without a condom, then they aren't going to be able to prove it one way or the other - after all, even if there were very small abrasions that sometimes occur during sex quite normally, these can also occur during some masturbation techniques... Only the presence of semen could come close to proving that someone has had sex and even then, it's technically possible that semen could be introduced without penetration occurring.

Pregnancy is a pretty good indicator you are not a virgin. Okay, I kid, I kid.
A doctor can perform a pelvic exam and tell if your hymen, which is a thin tissue that goes around the entrance to your vagina, has broken. Typically this breaks the first time a penis gets up in there, and in the bad old days, not bleeding on your wedding night would give your new husband a good excuse to dump you for lack of virginity.
The problem is that some women have such minimal hymens that they can have tons of sex without ever tearing it, and other women tear theirs through nonsexual things like stretching exercises or horseback riding. No responsible physician would be say for certain whether a girl is a virgin.

No- the only definitive way of knowing if someone is a virgin is to ask them. There is no such test to determine if someone is a virgin. Having a pelvic exam by a doctor may not give a clue either, as the hymen can break for many reasons including sports, horseback riding, tampon usage, etc etc

What? I think some people are getting confused.... there is no way to tell if you are NOT a virgin. However, you can tell if you ARE a virgin. Big difference there.
If the Hymen is present and not torn, and the opening is too small to have had intercourse,, then yes,, virgin.
However,,, no hymen does not mean that intercourse has taken place. Hymens can be compromised in ways other then sex.

No. But many ignorant people believe that a broken hymen depicts loss of virginity. But in most cases its just extreme sports or using tampons or anything else!!!
However, doctors can mostly tell if you are sexually active by looking down there.

No.
Doctors can only tell if you are sexually active IF you've had sex within the past 48 hours.
There is NO "test".
