missed the bus should be considered cruel and unusual punishment?

I was wearing my coolest sunglasses and my pjs with schnauzers on them singing at the top of my lungs to the Dixie Chicks so that when they opened the car doors, everyone would notice...:o) What a fun way to start the day...for me anyways!

No way, I think its a great way to teach them to be more responsible. If it happens again...be sure to walk them to the door wearing your bathrobe and shower cap, with your mud mask. And if they do it again. This calls for the mud mask, robe, shower cap and bright red lipstick and be sure to give them a big huge kiss on the cheek and real loud say, "And remember, Momma still loves you even though you intentionally miss the bus!"

If they think about missing it again, this moment will come flooding back to them. They will not miss the bus again for at least two years. Maybe more.
