So many things in life are hard to do but it's all a part of living on this Earth. A few come to mind:

Burying my son, mother, father, grandparents

Losing several babies to miscarrage

Fighting a battle with cancer & surviving

Fulfilling my mothers dying wish, that I take care of my Dad until his death (cancer) which I did.

Choosing to become a mom to a toddler just 5 weeks after burying my son.

The hardest thing I've had to do is bury my dad after only knowing him for 17 years, we were just really getting to know each other, there was so much more I wanted to ask him but never got the chance. Our family is of native heritage and there is so much history not found out now that he is gone.

make the decision to pull my mother off of life support with my other family members ...she went in for a simple surgery and came out a vegetable then 5 days later, i gave birth to my 2nd child then i had to get better really quick to attend my mother's services with her new grandson.....They held off on the services for a week and a half so i could see my mother one last time...it was a very devasting time in my life...My mother died very suddenly at 64 yrs old on jan 29, 2006 and my son was born 5 days later...he is nearing his 2nd birthday and it will be a celebration and a mourning at the same time. My mother was my world, she and my dad helped me raise my 1st child, a girl who is now 9 yrs old..she has grown into quite a young little girl and i have my parents also, to thank for that.

Bury my little girl. And before that, not be able to 'take away' her leukemia. Every parent wants to be able to help their child, and to be helpless to change such a horrible thing... I don't know if one of the two is worse, but her burial was a moment. I wanted to make her better ... forever.

Letting go of things and situations I have no control over. Honestly, it can be the most difficult thing to do. But when you are able to, things seem to get better, fast. It helps you put your priorities and things that matter to you in perspective.
