do you think that there will be another shuttle disaster before the shuttles retires
i certainly hope not, but i was just wondering what other people thought

I expect it every time one is launched...like you , I certainly
hope not! Yet I don't see the benefit of the missions any-
way..who cares how a red worm copulates in space? Seven
people died to find out and the red worms were the only
survivors of Columbia. The International Space Station is
more of a liability than it is an asset...just a place for over
zealous astronauts and cosmonauts to 'hang' out for a while
as some on the ground plot ways to win in love triangles!
Like the little cars on the Red Planet, just an expesnsive
toy we have to pay for along with paying the salaries of
a bunch of overgrown kids as they play with the remote
controls!

It is possible .----They try to make the shuttle faster and the4 motors more powerful but also lighter. These 2 are in opposition to each other. Normally lighter and more powerful don't go together.

They're getting old, and they strain their guts out to get to orbit and get back.

There are very few non-catastrophic failures in launch or re-entry.

I too hope they don't lose any more, but only time will tell.

this is only my opinion,its way to complicated,its mixed with old technolagy,and they are old,do the math and not in favor of to many more flights........................i hope nothing ever happens.............
