It won't change their views on Iran, because the basis for the liberal policies towards any aggressive nation is cowardice. They are afraid, and that is why they go to the UN as an authority, because they see themselves as the playground kid being bullied.
They are cowards and that is why they are not willing to stand up for even their own values.

I asked a similar question yesterday and most people just gave the "It's not a reason to go to war" slogan.

I think it is sad that animal activists will travel to Japan to save some whales that are being hunted legally and yet have no sympathy for human beings that are tortured and murdered for being gay by a ruthless dictatorship.

What's wrong with people?

Nukes are not an issue for the moment because Iran doesn't have them. The comments about gays should bother any human being, even Christian conservatives.
