i'm so in love with this show...my friend recommended it and i watched the whole first season on dvd before the second season started. i think i kinda liked the first season more just because this whole landry/tyra/dead guy thing makes me nervous. i also liked when lyla was slutty and not all religious lol but that's just me. and i miss julie and matt...they were so cute and then she went and messed it all up.
what are your thoughts??? any opinions abut the show are more than welcome! i only have one friend who watches the show too so i just wanna see what you all think.

I love Friday Night Lights. Its Amazing, Just like you I started watching it back on the dvd right before season 2 started. The charactors are perfect and the actors are very talented. I cant think of a show more realistic. The show should be winning awards!
Im also a huge Lila/Riggins fan! They have great chemistry. But I am also upset that Matt and Julie are seperated..
The Tyra Landry thing needs to come to an end, I wish they had just told the truth from the beginning.. But its not a show with out keeping ppl on the edge of their seats!

I love Friday Night Lights. I DON'T love the fact that they acutally put it on Friday nights!!! It makes sense yes, but I'm never home on Friday nights!!! SOO i've had to put it up to taping them to catch them. I agree I loved last season better so far than this season, but it'll start to get interesting soon!
I too read that the ratings aren't doing so well, but again that goes back to them putting it on Friday nights! Everyone is out and about at the home football games..no one is at home sitting in front of their tv!!! It needs to move to a week night!

Yes I love this show as well . I think it demonstrates some of the problems you do have in a small town That dead guy thing has got me nervous too . I wonder when the watch will appear and what landrys dad will do with that . I mean he has already burned landrys car . I liked landry with tyra I dont know why his dad even messed with that . I hate the fact that matt and julie are broken up but Julie did that to herself . i dont like matt with that new girl though . I just dont think that is a good fit . I could go on and on about this show . good luck and god bless.

I like the movie but I am afraid there is only so much you can do with the series. I was not interested at the beginning of this season but I will have to say it has gotten better.
I hope it continues - let's face it small town and football! LOL

Julie is acting like a brat this season...a complete opposite of the way she was last season...isn't there a happy medium? Oh well, I can't wait for Coach Taylor to come back to Dillion. I miss him. :) I could be biased since I've loved Kyle Chandler since "Early Edition". :)

Yeah it one of the best shows on right now. But i heard that is is not doing well in the ratings. I hope NBC don't cancel it.
