After the thermostat calls for heat, the igniter glows red, all of the burners starts and the flame looks good. However, when the blower starts, two burners are ok and two other burners will not stay on, they go on and off. I can see the "flame" of the bad burners dose not go up but tries to travel to the two good chambers. I have cleaned the burners and crossover. I suspect that the opening above the two bad burners is blocked, or somthing wrong with the blower (only after the blower starts, the two burners become bad).

My question is: what is wrong and how can I cure it?

are the air intakes for all the burners set the same? if not, adjust the 2 bad ones to the same opening size as the 2 good ones. be careful, when you have a partial flameout, raw gas is escaping and could be dangerous. have good ventilation when working on furnace. also check to see that there are no holes or cracks in the firebox, if there are, you'll need to replace the furnace.
