The contents of the meal wouldn't mean so much to me as the people that shared the meal with me. I would want my final meal to be shared with family and friends. We would tell jokes and stories, laugh and enjoy one another's company.
As much as I love cooking and adore eating, it's really the memories formed from food that mean the most to me. Think of some of your favorite foods. Do you have a special memory connected to them? Is it a comfort food you grew up eating during special occassions, or while you were not feeling well?
Food is an amazing thing. Sharing a meal with people brings them together. You can take a group of strangers, put food in front of them and viola! SUddenly everyone belongs.

Large but tender and succulent lobster tail with drawn butter. Side of linguine with white clam sauce. Fresh whole green beans. French onion soup or Market Inn [restaurant in DC] she-crab soup. Olive Garden salad.
Blackberry Iced Tea.
Good cup of coffee with Creme Broulee for dessert
It BETTER be my last meal 'cause I would be eating everything I'm not supposed to eat! LOL

I would like a really good pizza, with plenty of pepperoni, good sweet italian sausage, mushrooms, black olives and lots of pure mozzarella cheese. And, I would like the pizza to be hot when it's served, it's usually bland by the time you get it home.
For my drink, I will have a glass of Coke Classic.
Oh, what am I thinking, you did say my final meal, didn't you? Well, that's another story................

Pizza from Gaetano's in SanDiego (I moved away 4 years ago and still miss it!) a giant fountain Pepsi and a piece of The MotherLode Cake from Claim Jumper. We play "prisoner's last meal" in our family and tht's always what I pick.
