Yeah the GLBT community is a pretty big clique here, as are the atheists in the R&S section.

I have noticed the Kickball Team and there are about two or three cliques in Politics but it's unofficial.

It's just a big network, isn't it? Anyone who's not connected isn't trying very hard.
Here's a game for you. Six Degrees of Yahoo!Answers Separation - using Fans and Contacts to see if anyone and everyone can be connected. Surely someone reading this is bored enough to see if it works. I'm not quite that bored yet.
