Look around Cary, NC I'm sure they got plenty of lodging and it's close to Raleigh too.

My suggestion is the Sheraton in downtown. It has an indoor pool like you want. Better still, it is in a downtown setting...you can walk places like restaurants, ice cream & coffee shops, and so forth.
