Its ineffective after 5 days. And the longer you take to take it after unprotected sex is the less chance of it stopping the pregnancy (like say withing the first 48hrs it has a 90% chance, after that it drops to say 30%, then lower and lower til its ineffective. Not accurate numbers just an example)

The morning after pill is best taken as early as possible. up to 72 hours after sex it is still effective. after this time its effectiveness reduces. Weeks after sex, is far too late to take it. if you're concerned about being pregnant, then you need to take a pregnancy test.

it depends on thekind of pill ur using. LEVONORGESTROL containing pills can b used with in 72 hrs. iucds like copper t can also b used upto 3 days safely if ur married and not nulliparous. still it seems that u have missed it... so dont worry in anycase even if ur pregnant there r still drgs available which can remove fetus till 63 days but u must c a gynec for that frst

It has to be taken within 72 hours. After that, you can take emergency abortion pill within one month. If you skip both, only a qualified gynac will help you.

You gotta take it within 72 to 120 hours after having sex..... after that its no longer useful

It really is called the morning after pill for a reason. But......... I don't see whay you couldn't at that time it would be more like and abortion.
