Despite comments from others on here, it does beg to be asked but i am fairly sure that lessons learned- the McCanns are more in touch with their parenting and doing all they can for the twins.
It's sensitive to broach because it would be wrong for the Social Services to step in and administer the right to take two children from a couple who have lost a child, yet if there was any cause for them to do so surely then it would affirm the suspicions of the Portugese police? I think the McCanns should now be left alone because the media have screwed the story for all its worth and there can be nothing more gained from the speculation.

Far too early to call, as the investigation is still pending.

Surely this would only become a real issue for the twins if their parents were to be actually charged and later convicted in connection with their sister's disappearance?

That said, I'd be reluctant to put any child at the tender mercies of the "care" system, or through the emotional roller-coaster of shuffling between temporary and short-term foster families.

There is nothing gentlemanly about that question at all!! I don't think they could be under any better care at the minute- the McCann's have undoubtedyl learned the hard way and will do anything in their power to keep their other two children safe and well

I think the whole situation is still a tad 'unclear' to be honest BUT, any parent who goes out & leaves their kids alone should have their ability as a 'good' parent questioned !!
Who is to say that any child taken away from it's parents would be better off fostered or in care...........Very questionable I would say. I have worked with children in care & they have not always been happier to be away from their parents no matter how uncared for they have been

No. Social services don't think so, and they investigated the situation. And I am happy to support them in their decision.
As far as I am aware, you have never met the McCanns, nor do you have anything to do with the case.

i think you are vile. i think you are stirring the pot with your wooden spoon and one of those responsible for pouring hatred onto two innocent people.
if you or anyone else has any proof of your vile rantings and accusations, other than the cra p you read in the papers, then please present that proof.
untill you have that proof sir, you are spreading vile nastiness and accusations without a clue what you are talking about.
perhaps we should start a campaign to have your children taken away? perhaps you have done nothing wrong but we should ignore that fact and just take them away from you because the rumours must be true. musn't they? think before you speak ill of another person because one day, the truth will be out and then what will you do

No I don't and for that matter it's not for you or any other stranger to decide.

Leave the McCanns alone and carry on living your perfect life.

Not yet, if and when they are charged with something then obviously yes, but on the other hand will it be too late to save the twins then?

How heartless are you?

I suspect that you believe that the McCanns are involved in the disappearance of Madeleine.

Like everyone on here you are allowed your opinion, but condider this:

They are innocent, Madeleine was abducted....and they are pining for her. AND NOW YOU WANT TO TAKE THE CHILDREN AWAY FROM THEIR PARENTS!!!!

Are you completely stupid?

Or, I suspect,......actually just putting a question onto this site to stir it up a bit.

tgibbyson said "if you are willing to say things like this, you need to be willing to take them in yourself and care for them 24/7"

Shame the parents didn't do that in the first case...and exactly the reason why the remaining two children should eb taken into care.
