you don't usually connect default sound ports but if you're referring to additional sound ports from your case, you should consult your motherboard manual on which motherboard jumper you need to connect to.

Your motherboard manual should show the diagram of where wiring goes. Also, motherboards also have labeling inside where you can read which goes where. If you don't have the manual, go to the website, put your model into the support area search box, and either read it Online, or if available, download via Adobe Reader.
