I had an ultrasound 2 weeks ago at 18 weeks, and the whole thing lasted about 45 minutes. It's so neat to see all the baby's body parts! The first 20 minutes the lady took all the measurements of the baby, and checked on all the organs, so the last 20 minutes was the fun part.

It will most likely be a level 2 ultrasound, so expect to be on the table for at least 30-40 minutes.

This one will most likely last close to an hour because they will be taking measurements of the baby to make sure he or she is developing correctly. This is also the time where you may learn the sex of the baby! That's always exciting. Enjoy the ultrasound, although beware they make you drink a ton of water before hand.

They will be measuring everything so it could take 45 minutes to an hour. With mine it took a little over an hour because my baby would not cooperate when it came to measuring his organs and everything. He was willing to show us he was a boy, but after that he did not like the pressure and kept moving away from the tech. So it took us awhile. You'll enjoy watching your baby, congrats! Have fun tomorrow

at 18 weeks they are probably doing an anatomy ultrasound and they usually take about 30 mins. you'll probably get to find out the baby's sex now also.

Every ultra sound I've had went really fast,
depending on if it's the (forgot what it's called), where they measure the bones and can tell the sex, that one takes a while, but it's good, you'll have some nice pictures of the baby!

as long as it takes for the tech to get photos of yoour baby's heart, lungs and other organs. then however long it takes to find the male/female part if you are finding out. mine took 20 minutes at most.
