I was on the minipill for a month and then I was switched to Kariva since I am no longer breast feeding. Just wondering, with the minipill I spotted occasionally since it was still during the 6 week recovering from giving birth. And now I am on the last week of my Kariva pills and still no period. I have taken 2 of the 7 days so far. When should I be expecting it? And did anyone have any terrible side efffects with Kariva when they were on it?

Give your pills a few months to get on track with your body before worrying.

I didn't get my period for three MONTHS after starting it, and after that I was regular.

I've had no terrible side affects and I've been on it for almost two years.
