The parsley industry and its stockholders would care.
Imagine the economy of the United States as a big pie-chart. Now imagine an oddly-shaped leaf on that pie chart. That's how much we'd lose as a nation.
My son and I used to play the Parsley Game and try to distract each other and dump our parsley on the other's plate.
He surrendered for all time the day I furtively slipped the waitress $10 and a note saying "cover his plate with parsley and don't give me any." She did and he knew he couldn't top it.

Parsley is actually supposed to be used to freshen breath after a meal. so are some fruits placed on plates. cleans the palate. try it!

I would...I always eat my parsley...it has a lot of Vitamin A and is good for your breath...
